It’s 10am, and I’ve been up since 7:30am. Got a good night’s rest and a good headstart on commissions. Spent the morning penciling everything out, and I’ll spend some of tonight and tomorrow morning wrapping these up. The goal is to finish all of them by Sunday morning.
Commissions are a real blessing, but they have a way of hanging over me at shows. I’ll go off and do signings and panels, always with this shadow of unfinished commissions hanging over me. Mostly because I’m OCD in that way. But these are a good solid start.
Hanging out at Boston Comic Con this weekend. It’s almost midnight after a long day of delayed flights, and I’m beat. Still, I managed to start the first phase of my convention commissions. Here’s a peek at the early thumbnails for everything I’ll be drawing over the next few days. I’ll post my progress throughout the show.
Planning to wake early and get a jump on these before the show starts at noon. I typically like to do these at home before a show, so I don’t end up holed up in my hotel working on these, but it just didn’t happen this time. This is where room service comes in.
